Let Laughter Ring

“If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.” – Woody Allen

This is a short update to let you know that our plans have officially been laughed at.  😉

We designed this blog so that when we launched from Kino Bay, it would have a cushion of articles to post automatically while we traveled over sea to the next location with internet access.

Those articles will still be posted, but we have had to rethink our expedition plans.   The reasons behind this will unfold in more detail over the coming weeks, but we wanted to post an update now regarding the critical changes.

The key elements we hope you will take away from this blog post are:
1-    That we will continue to post articles, and are jumping into the journey experiences from the past few months very soon.
2-    That we are returning to New Mexico for the summer in order to create a solution to significant challenges we’ve encountered.

If you’re not already a contributor to our educational project or subscriber to the blog, you may be wondering, “what happened? what challenges?” (And if you want to be one of the first to know, you really should consider signing up!)

We’ll give you a hint via solutions found, but we hope you’ll stay tuned to let the juicy details unfold with the articles.

Solution 1:
Make a new plan that may again be laughed at.
Solution 2:
Build the second canoe hull that will turn Wilber into a “Double-Canoe Catamaran”
Solution 3:
Return to the Sea of Cortez in September/October.

Stay tuned for the good stuff, and in the meantime, here’s some food for thought….

If:
(A) Woody Allen was accurate when he said, “If you want to make God laugh, make plans,”
and (B) laughter is the best medicine…
Does that mean making plans is a way to make the world a better place?
